I'm talking about fans for business facebook page. Beside, the fact that it makes your profile looks nice, were you actually able to make any sales? Or those people just "like" and that's it

Hi! Getting more fans could be difficult at first. That's why business owners hire an agency or freelancer that sells Facebook likes. This is where Facebook ad comes in. In order to get the right audience. The more target you get, the more fans you will get too. Yes you can make sales but not literally by just liking. Like helps your business page seen to your fans' friends etc. How can you make sale? ENGAGEMENT. Talk to these fans. Make them interested in your business and work on to get make them your prospect customers.

I have back when Facebook first took off but they definitely weren't engaging. Don't expect them to help you gain prospects although it's possible depending on method used to gain them.

getting likes in that manner will not benefit the page as there will not be any engagement when you post anything. For pages to be an asset there has to be some engagement on the page when you post anything there. You will only get the engaging member on the pages by getting the targeted likes on the page that will only get by facebook ads, I short I recommend that you just use the face book ads and nothings else for better positive results

Just use FB advertising and target your potential followers well.

Result.

Buying facebook links is not good like sometimes if you stop the campaign your like will go down and its engagement also goes down.

FB are cutting down on this lately, a lot of them are fake liks so a waste of money for you . As mentioned FB ads are a good way to go and grow my friend

If you are talking about purchasing fans from places like Fiverr...

Those 'fans' won't do much of anything, because they usually aren't real

If you can buy real fans that could be helpful for your busienss but don't go for fake fans. Most of the sites which are providing service like 10000 fans in an hour, 99% of those fans are fake. So I suggest you not to go for any fake fans. You can get real fans by inviting your facebook friends. Also by sharing your Fan page link on other Fan pages.

Depending on the business you are in. If you have a local business it won't work because its impossible to purchase likes from a specific region

Buying any sort of fans, likes doesn't help; you need organic traffic and engagement to survive on Facebook now.
Bought fans don't care about your content, they're there because you paid them to.

Real fans come slowly but are worth more as compared with fake fans which are purchased and not active.

I think FB advertising is the best and Laser targeted fans. But you cannot expect to make sales after you get those fans.

First you need to have engaging content, and then the usual... capture page, funnel, etc...

There are plenty of free groups that form "like" ladders. A type of trade with other marketers where you like their page and they will like your page. This isn't targeted traffic but neither is buying Facebook Likes. Getting more likes and fans will increase your edge rank in facebook but if you want targeted leads that will sell then I would purchase facebook ads.

I attended workshops a few years ago we were told to buy likes at the time. and I did but now after testing this engagement is poor seeing post seen by only a few. These days making connections works much better. Relationship marketing takes time but does work for free.

Facebook ads is definately the way to go, i have run a few campaigns and most have been successful till the point i dont need ads anymore and my Facebook page grows Organically

Not only is the practice of buying likes completely worthless, it actually works AGAINST you.

You have never come across a Facebook page and said “Wow, what a great Facebook page, but only 10 other people like it so I’m not going to click the Like button”.

No one thinks that way. It’s “fake psychology” the Like sellers have fed you, that somehow the number of Likes is "social proof" - it isn't. It's just a trick to get you to buy "seed followers".

What I would say is that if somebody is looking into a company, they very often look at their popularity. If you want to use potentially two different companies and one has 10 likes and the other 40,000, most people will use the one with more likes.

It 99% does give credibility.

Skip the "seed followers" and grow your page organically - it won't kill your post visibility like the fake ones do. You'll look far more credible with 100 real followers engaging with your posts than 10,000 likes and no engagement.

If you want to get sales from Facebook, buy Facebook Ads and drive traffic to your sales page / squeeze page / affiliate pre-sell page.

You can also create a landing page inside your Facebook page: this will usually cut your cost per click.

Basically, if they see that you're buying ads to drive traffic inside Facebook (i.e., you're driving traffic to your landing page on Facebook, as opposed to driving traffic to an external squeeze page), they'll reward you with a lower price per click.

i wouldn't bother buying fans for anything other than "socia proof". Most of them would probably be fake profiles. I couldn't see it doing much more than making your fan # inflated. But, I think you can buy them pretty cheap on fiverr if you want to test it.

Facebook is a big platform for getting traffic. If you are not looking for SEO, then Facebook is the right place to get traffic. Every website should have a Facebook page. We can easily convert our Facebook like to our traffic. So try to get as much real like as you can and then promote your product and service on your fan page.

For just created pages I've bought fake fans, usually about 5000, with profile images. They adds credibility to newly created fan page and visitors like my page more actively. But of course the best are organic likes and likes from fb ads.
