Should an organic facebook like campaign have a call to action

Hello,

Im posting for some companies in local facebook groups to increase brand awarness and maybe some increase in sales.What i would like to know if i am posting qoutes funny stuff related in some way to my business do i have to include in the write something about section about like and share comment a call to action or not.This could maybe get me banned from some groups this is why i keept it out.

    Hope you're well! Thought i'd chime in here.

    Forgive me if i haven't understood the post completely but personally and from my experience, and call to action is absolutely fine to do. I think it is an effective tool to use- when you think about it, it's also completely free. Now, this could be a call to action to watch a free video or something.

    What specific kind of companies are you increasing brand awareness for? What would be the purpose for your call to action?

        Hi,

        The 10/4/1 rule is a good rule to go by really as you want to create as much valuable content as possible. It never is about just using this method of gaining traffic as a promotional tool- people need to see you as trustworthy, they need to like you. It takes longer for sure- but its necessary.

    I recently sat in on a webinar on how to get the most out of your Facebook posts. With there being so much content on the social media platform, Facebook now favours some posts over others and what you include in your posts can have an effect on its reach.

    From January 2015 onwards, posts that are deemed 'overly promotional' are penalised by Facebook and have a lower organic reach. Overly promotional means posts that are created to get someone to buy a product and are designed with a specific offer or CTA. If you're posting a quote or funny meme, this risk is reduced, but I'd still be aware of their rules surrounding the content that they favour when writing your description.

    With paid advertising, this rule is null and void so it seems like this might be the way forward!
