Is Facebook Advertising a Good Way to Get Subscribers For My Niche?

I am testing out FB Advertising to get subscribers over the 1 week. So far it is pretty slow and my acquisition cost is around $9.45/lead. Is this cost too high?

Anything to improve on my blog, coachingwithjoe.com?

Besides advertising on Facebook, try to go for Organic too. Participate in different facebook groups, online communities and help people out with your expertise. In my experience, if you help someone with good intent and provide a solution to their problem, there's no way you won't get noticed. My answer was a bit different from what you asked, but I just focus more on content marketing + genuine help approach first rather than spending money. So far, it has worked for me.

Thank you for responding. I did write articles. But I might not do it correctly to attract traffic.

      From my own experience.
I have a page but the reach isn't that great unless I boost post. Is group really better?

FB ads expert here, no reason to bring those costs down to bellow a dollar, I do both PPE and CPC. The best thing about paid traffic is that it almost garuantees a fantastic ROI if you have a correct funnel for your leads. What have you tried so far? What are your metrics?

    Regards, Alex

Facebook is a great way to get subscribers but your cost per lead is way too high. My top advice would be to do research first for your content strategy. Look for the best coaching pages out there and study what they are doing right.

My personal fave coach is Sandi Krawkowski: https://www.facebook.com/SandiKrakowskiBiz

Every hour she posts something motivating, encouraging or tips that would benefit her customers. Sandi says that her posts should always answer the question: “How can I help someone get a result today?”

Your ad cost is too high. You need to do a split test on what will work to bring your facebook ads cost down: more specific audience targeting, more compelling ad image, change your ad title, change your ad copy.

Checking your facebook page, my suggestions are to post more often, use more compelling images, post some infographics and videos.

Create specific posts about "motivating behaviour and changing belief" or how you were able to help clients.

Thank you! Very helpful post! How often should I post to be effective and not becoming a pest? Is group a better way?

This is expensive, but it really depends on your return. I would pay $10/lead if I was making money.

I think Facebook advertising is really useful and has a lot of potential to bring in traffic. However, you have to make sure your target audience is specific and not broad so that you get the best out of the adverting- if your intent is to drive people to your website.

I also do not think that $9.45 is too much. I actually think that you should boost your posts so that you get more people seeing your content. I believe they are more likely to like your FB page and click into your website that ways.

In terms of subscribers, I don't think Facebook will play such a major role. I think you should make your popup take up whole page and change the color around so that it doesn't blend in with the background.

My advice for you regarding improving your subscribers would be to increase your organic traffic.

    Hey, buddy!

What I've learned and experienced so far is that to get tons of people to take on your offer, it needs to be a really good and really SPECIFIC offer.

You need to picture your offer in such a way that they know exactly what they're getting... And it needs to be something useful that they can use INSTANTLY to improve their lives at least a little bit.

For example, in the internet marketing space checklists and templates work the best because it's something specific that they can start using right away.

Some reports work well too, but you have to make it short, to the point and really specific.

For example, "Discover How Struggling Chiropractor John Went From Not Being Able to Talk To People To Generating 80 Patients A Month By Using This Simple 3-Step Process"

Or, "Get The Checklist Of The Most Important Habits You Must Do Every Morning To Double Your Productivity Within 3 Weeks".

    Something like that...

Then, put the offer in front of the right audience.

Target people who are making a decent amount of income who are CEO's, managers, executives, etc.

Also you can target people who go to personal development forums, blogs, websites, etc.

Let me know if you need more help!

If you can send screenshots of the actual campaign you're running (Audience, ad and landing page), I'd be able to help you better.
