Facebook Update - How do you deal with it?

Halo everybody,

I guess some of you must have heard about the update of the Facebook algorithm, and I've read some articles about Facebook ads prices going up and so on... Since I plan to use Facebook marketing as a big part of my marketing effort this year I'd like to ask you:

How are you going to deal with this change?
Have you already felt the change in you Facebook pages?

I think that your answers can help the entire community here...

    I would start by asking why you would like to use FB for marketing these days.

    It is a closed website. You cannot get reach unless you fuel them with more and more money. I don't consider FB useful per se. I'd rather post on FB groups, yet that's not really marketing. It's more like witty spamming. lol

    Pass FB, I would suggest. There are better sites all over the Internet.

      Hi Tedel,

      You are right, and yet Facebook has been a marketing resource for many people over the years. I actually used it very lightly, and intended to increase my activity when the news about the change arrived.

      So that's was exactly my point of asking: if Facebook sucks, what other sources do you use?
