As far as Pinterest marketing is concerned I can share my experience with you. You create atleast 5 new and fresh pins daily and pin or schedule. You can take help of tools like Tailwind for that. Make a habit of commenting on other peoples useful pins. This will increase your chances of getting more followers.

Pinterest can certainly drive quality traffic to your website / blog. However you need to be extremely careful while working on Pinterest. they have a very strict community guidelines and if you happen to violate them, they will ban you from the platform.

Simply follow the rules - Never post repeat Pins. What it means that never repeat the combination of one image and URL. If you re-pin same image and URL combination then I can guarantee you that you will be flagged and will be banned for sure.

Secondly, make sure that you use premium images or at the least royalty free stock images from free sources like pixabay or pexels. This will help you avoid any copyright strikes.

As far as Twitter is concerned, I do not have very good experience with it. It hasnt drove much traffic to my website. Atleast not as much as Pinterest has. It may depend upon the niche and target audience. But you can try your hands on Twitter too.

    All the best.

  • Hey there. Nice to e-meet you!

Definitely second @wellnesszing on the Tailwind and post schedule tip. Canva has amazing templates for pin images, which always do better than basic stock photos with no type of explanation for what the pin offers.

Twitter requires a very distinct tone and style of writing - think light on text, and very image friendly. Happy to be a resource if you need more information.

    All the best,

    Christina

    Hi Mort

I don't know much about Pinterest. With Twitter there are 2 possible options:

    1. Paid advertising (I think I read somewhere on this forum that the engagement rates for Twitter ads is pretty low, haven't tried these myself)

    2. Build your Twitter following. This is a slow process in the start. Start by following large accounts in your niche and commenting on their posts, you need to post/comment alot, 10 to 15 times a day. You will slowly gain followers, quicker if your posts are engaging, add value. Once you have built your following its easier to advertise individual products. Your Twitter bio can include the link to your site.

Have you considered Instagram? Influencer shout outs/collaborations may work well in your niche.

Just publish an ad on Twitter or you can build up your page by staying active, commenting on people's tweets, following trends and all

You can hire a freelance photographer and make a lot of high-quality images for your pins and posts. This works well.
