Twitter Blue users can now upload long videos
And by long, I mean 2-hour long videos. Twitter says:
It won't be easy however, as this is in some ways competing with YouTube for video consumption. There won't also be incentive for creators to post exclusive content to Twitter.
But whatever happens, it seems video will play a bigger role on Twitter.

| "Subscribers can upload videos up to 2 hours long (1080p) on twitter.com and Twitter for iOS. Subscribers can upload videos up to 10 minutes long on Android. If you aren't a Twitter Blue subscriber, you can still upload videos up to 140 seconds long on any platform." |
But whatever happens, it seems video will play a bigger role on Twitter.
