a lot of people have been complaining to me recently about facebook and that they are growing tired of it, is this the start of its decline?

    I don't think so. They will be the #1 for the next several years. And as you saw Google+ tried to compete with FB, but they didn't do well.

    Facebook will dominate for years. Google Plus has a lot of registrations, but a small percentage of those actually use it. It is in position to become the social leader when enough people use it so that the presence of +1s (similar to likes) will influence organic search results.

    In my opinion, the people who complain about Facebook are those people who are not successfully getting what they expected from it. People think that Facebook and other social media are getting useless when they don't get desirable results. The usefulness of a tool is really based on how it is utilized by the user. Most of the marketing people still find Facebook a useful tool at this moment.

      I agree in that idea man. Imagine, if you are getting the success you desired using facebook and other social media, then there's no use of complaining but when you haven't gain anything from your facebook page or twitter page, then of course you will get disappointed and you will say that these social media sites are useless.

      I think, they haven't use the proper way of social media marketing. They lack knowledge and they have poor interaction with people.

    Facebook is the best when it comes to sharing and marketing of your business. It is very much at the top and will remain on the top almost forever. The word decline wont come in Facebook's way.
