FACEBOOK ads targeting FB page tabs

I am having trouble sending traffic from the ads straight to my FB page tab. It used to be so easy to pick the "destination tab" and let it run, but it's been a long time since I ran FB ads.

If I type in the actual tab url into my FB ad, it picks up the page itself and not the tab destination.

How do I handle this? Google results are only showing the old outdated techniques.

    You should just be able to copy and paste the URL of your application into the field for destination URL on your ad. Is that not working? I don’t see anything in their TOS that would suggest you can’t do this.
