I am new in warrior forum. I like to be an expert marketer by joining here with experts.
Can anybody inform me about the basics of internet marketing where I need to give emphasis more?

    "Internet marketing" is just the same as marketing. Making "Internet sales" is just the same as making sales. An "Internet business" is just the same as any business.

    Definitely go for social media. This will leave you less hassle because the social media are very easy to use. This will also have a big market since everyone is in it and it is very trending. Facebook to be exact has a very wide range for customers and clients.

        Try to build awareness and branding using Facebook page. You can do this by simply becoming an active member and trying to reach out to your market and connect to them. Do not over advertise or spam. Post good and useful content.

    In my opinion, you should conduct research on SEO as well as sponsored links. If you want the basics of internet marketing, this is a good start. Any company needs to have this knowledge.

    Internet marketing is the communication of value over the internet.

    You'll need to learn:

    1: How to identify value to begin with (What is good, what is useful? This is typically context-dependent rather than absolute)

    2: To understand the people you're communicating to (what makes them tick? what are they looking for? How do you earn their attention?)

    3: To understand the medium you're communicating through. (What gets picked up, what doesn't, why?)

    basic I have use to create a $xx,xxx a month business. Is this...

    1) create list

    2) offer them good info.

    3) Then offer them stuff for sale

    4) Then keep offering them good stuff

    5) Look after your buyers list, and keep them buying.

    Its alot of hard work, as in years of hard work, but When I hit $100 a day, I knew what worked so I just kept doing more of that, basically list building and offering cool stuff. Then the rest if history.

    Remember I too was once a newbie frustrated, but I kept vigilant and kept coming back in here in the warrior forum. Reading and then implementing and testing. If you do not take action you will not get results. Simple as that really.

    Hehe.. why does everyone post canned useless information. Internet marketing.. here is what you need to know.. pay per click, craigslist, and ebay. If your product doesn't work with any of that then it doesn't work at all. If its sellable, first try ebay, then move to craigslist for lead generation, and finally to pay per click once you have that down to an art and your ready to spend big money to scale results.

    I think whilst degrees/courses are a good route, self-taught is also a good route. You'll learn a lot here but also on sites like Econsultancy, Moz etc.

    There are many avenues you can go on the internet, so I would suggest to figure out quickly exactly what direction you want to go in and then conquer it. I spent years going from one shiny object to another and it is very counterproductive. All the best!

    Find someone who is already successful in Internet Marketing and contact them follow them on social networks and learn how they do it.. And then start doing it with your own touch :-) Getting your own blog and social accounts, build a following and a list of targeted people is also vital.. :-)
