Does anyone know how to add images into their YouTube videos?

Hey I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea how to add little pop up images into YouTube videos such as this one:

I record videos using my iPad as well, so I'm not sure if that may even further complicate things.

    It is true that you can add the annotations within Youtube, but they won't be of the quality that were being used in the guitar instruction video, because Youtube is only allowing text within the boxes, not imported images. Your choices are a bit limited if you are going to do all your editing on an iPad, but this will do what you are asking for

    Hey thanks guys!

    I'm not completely married to the idea of doing everything on my iPad. That's just the only camera I have for right now. If I could somehow send the vids that I record on it to my desktop computer then I could use another program too.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for programs that I could use for desktop that would allow me to do what that guy in the video is doing?
