Last year it was the first time when I heard how powerful Pinterest could be. I know, I was late. But not too late! After that I created image based blog and developed a particular system, put it on auto pilot and connected it with Pinterest (Tumblr and Facebook too). It is amazing how responsive are Pinners and how much they want to search and click through if there is something they are interested in.

Well, until now Pinterest is my favorite and by far the most profitable social media out there. What about you? Any positive experiences with Pinterest?

    Pinterest can produce good traffic depending on your product and target audience. The Pinterest demographic is big for products used by and directed towards women. Apparently there are a few sites that are based on the premise of Pinterest but they target a more male audience.

    Yes, with many followers, I'm getting decent traffic when I pin everyday. There is also residual traffic, which is great.

      Interesting discovery. I don't have a lot of experience with Pinterest, but it might make sense what you are saying. Pinterest have a tendency to "suck you in" and you spend a lot of time browsing around, and I would assume that typical women topics therefor would have a higher traffic rate

    Oh no, Pinterest... absolutely no results. I'm not a photography giant first. Then I've got no idea how to make my pins discoverable. Those hashtags in descriptions don't seem to help. Everything I've learned about this platform from tons of authority sites seems to be the same basics that simply doesn't work. No followers, no repins, no traffic, don't know how on earth people are doing great there.

    The demographics of pinterest look really good. Middle-Upper class suburban females. In other words, potential buyers! I've been experimenting with pinterest, but haven't found the right niche yet.

    @Project; is this auto blog method doing with adsense safe or risky to get ban?

    What works best to monetize pinterest traffic;

    A) adsense, low paying ads or does it brings high ctr?
    B) monetize as amazone affiliate-are they in buying modus?

    C) only to build a list with pinter traffic?

    Must I do seo, invest huge money in seo with your method?

      I don't have any troubles with Adsense. But if you worry about it or you don't have an account, there are plenty of other possibilities to monetize it.

      Amazon is a great option too. I actually believe that it has even more potential than Adsense itself.

      No SEO needed, investment is minimal. But it takes some work at the beginning!!

      what do you mean by "long pings"? I've never heard of this in terms of pinterest. Do you mean png images?

      I just have an account with my store description on the banner up top. I've got about 11K pins, but have yet to harness its potential. I've got followers, likes, and comments--and I've only been doing this since December. I think when I do open the gate, so to speak, the flood will come. I've just been so busy with the house keeping stuff of my business to devote more than I have, right now.

      Long pins are pins with 3 or more photos. They take up a large portion of your screen and are easily seen that's why they do so well with repins. Most long pins are recipe and food related.

    I love pinterest, although I'm still a bit hoping that they it becomes more balanced in terms of traffic. Most people that visit the site are women, like 90% of the traffic. So most of the things that you can sell there are for women mostly.
