What is difference of # & @ in Twitter??

Hi guys tell me abou this i have some confusion.

    You use @ when you want to include another person in your tweet. It will go on their notifications if you do this. So it would go something like this, "Thanks for the response @SebastianAiden" This would then notify me that someone used my username in their tweet.

    Say you are a fan of Miley Cyrus. You can search #MileyCyrus to find out all of the tweets that people have done recently that included #MileyCyrus. An example is, "Omg I just saw #MileyCyrus #twerking with a #midgetsdoingfunnystuff"
    This would then include your tweet in the feed of each #, so if someone wanted to search #MileyCyrus, your tweet would be included in that search feed.

    to add onto Sebastians - # is called hash tag. You may have heard the term before -- it is the symbol used to designate a topic, if you will... But often people "Hashtag" "#" full sentences or long ideas #Ihavenoideahowtousehashtags there are no spaces between words.

    Lots of time people just go completely overboard with #s -- it is kind of like keyword searching... so you will see multiple hashtags in one tweet
