I am trying to conduct A/B split tests on my wordpress blog via "google website optimizer" so i can maximize my conversions.

i am trying to set up my 1st "experiment" but i cannot get it past the set up phase.

no matter what I try, the variation page and confirmation page validate easy but the original page will not validate. i've copy/pasted the tracking code as it says but no go.

there is almost no information available that i can find to fix this. just looking for someone to get me over the hump as well as show me how i can get by this issue in the future.
