I'm looking for someone who has strong SALES copy-writing and product review writing skills. I will be using this for press releases, so if you have PR writing experience this would be a plus. If not, it's not a big deal. If you have a reputation for making people want to "click the link" when they're done reading one of your pieces then I want to hear from you! I'm looking for a writer who knows how to hit all the right emotional buttons, use all the right buzz words but sound natural and sincere at the same time; not 'sales-y' or 'hype-y'. A writer who knows how to pull a reader in, engage them and convert them. Ability to create catchy, killer headlines is a plus. The review should be positive (over all) but can have a 'con' or two in there to keep it natural and non-contrived sounding. **NOTICE** (the following must be included for consideration) Please attach AT LEAST 2 samples of your work via link where I can read some samples. Please also give an accurate estimate of when this project will be able to be completed. **End Notice** I will be checking closely for duplicate content so do not plagiarize. If you do not have strong copy-writing skills please do not submit for this assignment. Must Have Good: Article Writing Copywriting Ghostwriting English Spelling English Grammar Press Release Product Review writing skills. Pay is between $20-$40, but if you're REALLY good, I'll consider more...but you have to PROVE (with cold-hard facts and numbers) that you're worth the more. I don't have an issue paying for true quality. I am looking for a long-term writer so if this works out and your content is high-converting then I would love to foster a long-lasting working relationship. |

WHAT? You want "Sales Copywriter Who Can Write High Converting Product Reviews" for $20-$40? You got to be kidding right? Or you have absolutely NO idea of the price of a real good sales copywriter with skills you ask, in the market... If I was you I would look around a little bit before expecting to get a good sales copywriter at that price. Seriously you won't find this here. My two cents of advice. Regards, Andre Foisy |

The funny thing is, he's actually right. It's not that he's trying to insult your budget; it's that copywriters (the ones that write the converting copy, not the article writers) charge hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands. I dunno. Perhaps you'll get lucky and find someone who'll pull through for you for that budget, but I doubt it. I'd take Andre's advice; look around a little. See what people are actually charging for this kind of service. Whatever you decide, best of luck with it. Ben | |

"I will be using this for press releases" <-- it's obviously for press releases with a "sales pitch", as I understand it, not direct web copy. For a PR which likewise aims to sell, $40 is NOT bad, IMO.

Thank you both, Ben and George for your input. I think some people (myself included sometimes) can read things but and our brains compute the information different way and we derive a totally different understanding. While I know the gentleman above was trying to be "helpful" (which I'm all for), the facetious tone was not appreciated....which prompted my type of response. Nevertheless, GeorgeR. understands it correctly. Ultimately, what I'm looking for is a content writer who can write persuasively to get sales. people who can do this usually can write sales copy and that's what I want from the person I fire. That's where I'm going with this. Thank you both for your input to make sure everything stays clear. |

Mr. NetMan, (if you see this) thank you for responding with more of your "caring" words but I am kindly and sincerely asking you to no longer respond on this thread. You have spoken your mind, educated the masses and have "set me straight"...(I guess) However, I am here, looking only to communicate with people who are interested in my offer and it's obvious that you are not. I respect that. Now please respect me and please leave this thread alone. I appreciate your consideration in advance.

Okay, I'll bite. Marketing online for over 10 years writing my own sales copy. Have made as much as $16,000 plus per month writing my own sales copy. You can find samples of my work all over the Internet. Just look up my name. You'll find over 50,000 results at Google if not more. Here's one sales page I did that sold out in an hour. http://www.stevewagenheim.com/member...salespage.html The offer is no longer available so please don't try to pay for it. Okay, so why am I even applying for this? Two years ago, I retired because I thought that the residual income from all my products would keep coming in. The Panda and Penguin hit and all my income dried up. At age 55, I honestly don't care enough anymore to start this marketing crap all over again. So all I want to do now is pick up a few odd jobs here and there to make a few extra bucks. I'm probably so overqualified for what you're offering and need that it's a joke, but whatever. If you want the best, you'll hire me. But I am telling you up front. I will not do more than 1 or 2 jobs for you at that price. After those jobs, if you're satisfied with my work, which you will be, my fee is $100 per job. This is non negotiable. I am willing to accept your offer of $40 as a show of good faith that you will recognize that quality doesn't come cheap, as others have tried to point out but you seem unwilling to listen to. If you think we can work together, send me a PM. If not, no skin off my nose. |

I think for writing product reviews that price is really good. I don't see what the fuss is all about. Unless I'm mistaken and its for a sales page, that is a very reasonable rate.
