One question... will this apply to other contextual ads, such as infolinks as well ?

The answer to your question is YES, absolutely.

I still use Infolinks on a handful of sites as well as Media.net and Chitika on a few other ones.

However, I'm getting the highest EPC (earnings per click) by using leads from CJ.com as a supplement to Adsense or Media.net. I'm using either one or the other (Adsense or Media.net coupled with CJ.com!)

The Adsense ad placement chart in this WSO gives me a consistent 10-12% click-through-rate with Adsense and I'm converting my leads on CJ.com at approx. 15% with an EPC of $13-$15. I place a link to a CPL (cost per lead) offer in the first and last paragraph of each article!

You can definitely leave Adsense out of the picture entirely and use just Infolinks with the methods in "Adsense Golden Nuggets," and my other free WSO, "Adsense Income Revealed." I would set the maximum links per page to "12" on Infolinks for maximum revenue.

Regardless of which contextual or link ads you use, the whole point is to provide valuable content and at the same time, make your website a literal land mine so that visitors will almost have no choice but to click an ad in order to exit your site.
