| Is your funnel converting? Do you even have a funnel set in place? Are you still struggling with low revenue from your online business? Driving traffic to your affiliate links does not bring you the money you expect? You are not alone. As you may have already seen, you can flood your links with traffic and still get no sales. Sometimes not even one single sale. Wasted money. Wasted time. Then, somehow you meet this guy that tells you that the traffic you are driving to your links is not good and that’s why you fail. He also tells you that what you need is high quality targeted traffic. Paid traffic. And that costs a lot. It may seem discouraging. At least financially. Yet, as you are determined to make it work, I bet you will take the chance. Nothing can stop you now, I know. And that's good. Very good. We both agree on this. But, guess what? This might do no good either. Not now. It will not boost sales. No matter how expensive and targeted that traffic is. Been there, done that. Why? Well... targeted traffic is good, no doubt about it. Customers willing to buy are essential for any business. But you’re missing the other half of the story... Are you really SELLING to them? So... on one hand it’s the traffic you drive in, which indeed should be as high quality and targeted as possible. On the other hand there’s your sales funnel. You are expecting all those people you bring in to buy from you. And when they visit your website, they find... what? How do you guide them to buy that special thing that makes them happy and pours money in your pocket? Having a poorly designed funnel or not having a funnel means quite the same thing: FAILURE! It means no sales, thus no money for you. I met this guy, Pat, the other day. He is amazing. So passionate. With very good knowledge of this fitness thing and with a gift for teaching. Thousands of followers on his blog. Somebody taught him to insert an AdWords link on his blog and he did it. Guess what? He has thousands of visitors (traffic). All passionate about fitness. No sales. Not even one. Why? Remember: He has the needed traffic. High quality. Targeted. Yet, he has no funnel. And this is why he gets no sales. No. You may not need a funnel. But your prospects do. If you want people to buy from you, send them into a sales funnel. It helps them buy. It gives them the time to build trust in you and learn the quality of your offer. They need it. They’re people, not numbers. Think about this: I am reading your fresh new post. A very good one. Well written. Useful info. In the corner of your page, on the right, AdWords shows me a product that I’d like to buy. But, out of the blue, my browser decides that the page needs a refresh. Or a power outage turns my computer off for 30 minutes. Now, when everything is back to normal, I’m left with AdWords showing me a different product, one I don’t care about. The product I wanted to buy from you is gone. You lost the sale and the commission. Bad luck? No. This happens. More often than you’d like. And it’s not just page refresh. Or the power down. There are so many other ways to lose sales. And money. But it’s always the same drawback: Somehow, your prospect loses the opportunity to buy from you. And you lose the opportunity to collect their money. Can you avoid that? Could you have done it a different way and offer me the chance to buy later, whenever I feel ready? Short answer: YES. That’s what a funnel is for. You can build a sales funnel. Another friend of mine, Claire, took another approach. She started by building a highly converting sales funnel in the first place, way BEFORE driving any traffic to it. A simple, but good landing page. A one year follow up email sequence (100+ messages). High quality, highly converting. She also has a good PDF report that she gives people for free to encourage them to sign into her mailing list. She also promotes some good affiliate products that match the topic of her blog and her readers interest. You would think that building all these took forever and she may be some well seasoned marketer. Well... she’s not. She has a different passion. Music. But she learned to follow an already working business recipe. Then, how long before she built her sales funnel and get the business running? A couple of hours. And no, she has no special technical or marketing skills. A regular girl sharing her passion. Like me and you. Results? Over $5K/month. Now she is only driving traffic to the funnel. And she is not stressed about having very targeted traffic either. Or floods of it, for that matter. No, she’s not a traffic maniac. And she doesn’t have a clue about SEO. Most of her traffic is free. Once or twice a week she writes very good articles based on ready to use market research done in her niche. However, she is easy on writing and spends little time on it. How's that? She uses niche research that's already done, so she doesn't spend time looking for hot topics and keywords. She gets them them ready to use. Watch the webinar below to find out how can you get them, too. Knowing the tools of the trade have helped her turn her hobby into an easy business and allows her to work much less for a lot better results. Yes, she makes her money with very little effort and time spent, while mainly following her life-long passion. Building a highly converting sales funnel made the difference for her. Now... it's your turn to think about it. Who do you think you resemble more? Pat or Claire? Be honest with yourself. What's missing? Where are you stuck? Is it traffic? Is it your funnel? If you feel like, share your thoughts on this with the other warriors in the comment below... If you are on the same path as Claire, you’re good to go. You may want to cut down on your costs, so watch the webinar below to see how you can do this, but other than that... The future is all yours. However, if you are more like Pat and your sales funnel is not really a funnel, then your business could use some serious improvement. If you are determined to make any money online, Claire's approach would fit you much better: Build a good sales funnel first and then drive traffic into it. Scary? Chill down. It's easy. You can get away with it in about 15 minutes (some people may take more). And after that you are free to enjoy the rest of your life making money even when you are not there. And... while we're at it... Have seen our latest free webinar? It shows exactly that... How to have a highly converting sales funnel ready and waiting for its prospects in minutes. Think you're not that good at it? Think twice! Setting up a super funnel is fast, simple and fun. Are you a beginner? No problem! @maxsi Hey, there. You can definitely use solo ads if that's your preference. Solo ads is a traffic source. You can use any other traffic source you may like, be it paid or free (blogging, solo ads, facebook ads, whatever...). This is about setting a good converting sales funnel, so you can monetize well that traffic you are getting from your favorite sources. Please watch the webinar, which is free, as you see. It is all explained in there. Thanks for asking |
