Profit Tab is being released by Todd Gross and Bruce Wedding on May 2, 2016. We got a good look at it and would like to share more about this new software with you. Skip to post #2 for some incredibly cool Profit Tab bonuses.

First off, Profit Tab didn’t really wow me. It basically animates your website Favoricon to differientiate your website and get people attention to your tab. The basis of Profit Tab is the common situation where many individuals open tabs after tabs without really returning to those stagnant tabs. They claim, ProfitTabs can help draw users back to your website tab so you don’t lose the engagement.

How this would be proved is still to be awaited? I personally think, if you wanted people to avoid leaving your website without seeing it again, the most effective solution would be an exit pop-up. (Much like those on Facebook where you are warned about unfinished text if you try to close your screen without finishing your post). That would draw users back to your page and prevent a page closure without a warning. However this can be annoying and unwelcomed unless you word it tastefully to help rather than to hinder.

So I could see Profit Tab may be an acceptable solution for some who would like to make their website unique and draw attention to their website tab. I personally think, Profit Tab is more so a novelty to make your website unique. Thousands upon Thousands of websites are available for a varying niche and topic as obscure as teen pregnancy (maybe not so obscure nowadays). There could certainly be value with having a way to make your website stand out however you can. The key to being above your competitors is to differentiate yourself! – this I suppose is where profit tabs will help.


What is Profit Tab?
So, I already expanded about Profit Tabs above but it’s effectively a simple software to help make the tab title or favoricon to be animated. It is useful to help get attention to your website tab and to make your site cooler
Honestly, it’s a shiny and flashy tab. The literal meaning of shiny object syndrome! No but keep reading because we’re going to make it worth your while if you like Shiny Objects!


Who is Profit Tab for?
Webmasters – Webmasters, you’re hipsters and I know it! Here’s the next shiny thing. Go ahead, satisfy your craving, it’s meant to be. Go buy Profit Tab and make your tabs shiny to users so to make your website even more cooler. You can differentiate yourself from other hundreds of boring sites in your niche that don’t have billboard rolling messages in their tab! Or flashing website favoricons. Having an animated favoricon, puts you on a whole different level!

Product Owners – Oh I could see this would be GREAT for product sales page. It’ll fit in well with your VSL or sales copy. Another way to get attention. Profit Tab would hence be actually useful for product owners and maybe you may even wish to do a quick three point benefits for your tab! That way people who have navigated out of your page are still reading about your product benefits. Cool eh?

Affiliates – Affiliates, your affiliate website needs to be freshen up. Having animated favoricon will bode well with the theme of your website. It’ll make your affiliate websites more attractive to website users and add more flashy, and shiny objects to your page. Why do you want to do this? We live in an ADD generation, like goldfishes, you need to keep tapping the glass of your users screen to keep their attention on your page! This is where Profit Tabs will help you affiliate marketers. Now your lead capture page has another reason for people to stay on!

Basically it does what it says it does and it does it better than other solution but what it does is a small subset of what you need.

Truth be told, their Profit Tabs sales page is an over-sell. They are telling you that Profit Tab will make you like the BIG guys! You know, Google, Facebook and the likes? There’s a difference…these are utility tools, it helps to know how many notifications you have or how many emails you’re going to get through at a glance. You could still profit from Profit Tab by the manners mentioned above! Realistically however, it’s just an extra feature to make your website stand out and unique in some measure.



While I’m not keen on their selling point and their overhyped sales page, we will give you a reason to get Profit Tabs if you want to – despite bragging rights to a flashy website. This is what they claim: “profit tab recovers lost traffic. It grabs your visitors attention and brings them back to your page so they watch your exiting videos, read your compelling copy, and take the actions that you want them to take on your page”
With years of internet marketing experience and web development; I can tell you this is an oversell (you’re too gullible if you believe this – you’ll end up spending more money than you make. Better watch your budget) YET it is still is a cool shiny object.
