This site is about a month old, and i wanted to give it more of an Egyptian theme. I was planning on adding a papyrus paper background, but then i didn't know what colors to make the content boxes. the sheek shiny effect just doesn't do it for the content of the website.

i am restricted to only add stuff and change colors, i cant change the layout of the boxes.

    Hello Anubis,
    nice webpage, and I like the main graphic. Have you looked at all the other templates homestead offers - there are over 2000 of them. I would think you might be able to find a better one more suitable for your theme.
    Plus, it would be nice if you could find a template that would allow your main graphic to be located higher on your page.
    Just my 2 cents worth.

      I took a look at your site. It seems very "busy", a lot of things going on. If I'm coming to this site for the first time, I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to look at first. You might try simplifying a little, focusing on your main objective. Just my 2 cents...

        Gosh! A theme that I absolutely love... in general I mean. I love everything to do with the Egyptians and ancient Mesopotamia.

        One good example of a band (death metal) that actual sings about it, is called 'Nile.'

        A sample of their lyrics....

        Anyway, I had a look at your site and believe when I say that the template you have chosen may be nice when it comes to the color and it would have had great potential if the design was centered. But when you consider that in this world you have people with computer screens that is 17" in size or bigger, then believe when I say that design is not great at all.

        On my screen it's centered left and there is this big open space on the right of my screen.

        It's too small as well.

        Just a quick question... since it's a proper domain name, are you restricted to templates that the host provide or can you find your own template and install it?

        I may have something for you.... but we will see. I will have a look through my hard drive.

        Don't count on me though, but if I find something I will post it here.

          LOL. Great and mighty Cthulhu makes his way from Lovecraft to RPGs to Death Metal. and even the Pokethulu

          But they always forget to point out that the reason he's on earth is that he's hiding from something even scarier.

    If you do the papyrus backround, try with dark brown or dark red content boxes.
