lol, this guy clearly are saying that he is using blogger and you guys talk about wordpress.
I've never had this drop on page view just because of installing new templates downloaded from third party sites and not google/blogger templates. I think should not make any difference, however some themes sometime has to many option which slow down your blogger blog or it may take time to load so templates like blogger provided by google are simple and loads faster this may be that some user if templates takes time to load they will not wait till it loads and go away while if template loads faster then user has chance to view your site in stead of living. Hope that helps.
