I'm just about ready to trash my site and start from scratch. I am using WP with the Astra template coupled to Woocommerce. everything looks great! But... I can't make the cart go away or other features I don't want. I have scoured the net looking for answer and come up with the wrong ones. All I want is a good looking affiliate site, not all the whistles and bells.

The cart icon can be removed through Wordpress customizer. Browse through appearance > customize > woocommerce > general. You can also alter the link to a custom url.

Another option is by editing css. You can remove/hide other features you don't like by simply editing the css file.

I've tried the basic editor. It doesn't allow it. It works in SOME cases. All the advise on the CSS is conflicting. It's driving my nuts.

FINALLY! No answer on this has been correct. It was simple (after spending a lot of time on it). It's a menu edit, not Woo, not WP, but done in Elementor. No CSS needed, not to mention my editing interface is completely different from everything I've seen.

Here's what I've learned with with this stupid multi layer editing system. Just keep screwing around with it and eventually you get it.
