Test WordPress On Your Own PC Using EasyPHP

There's a free guide book for a step-by-step guide on how to install EasyPHP(free) that lets you run WordPress (and other scripts) on your local PC.

With this test setup, you don't have to upload WP to your server until you're finish. For live sites, this also means that you can modify or customize your themes, plugin, layouts etc without risking a downtime.

    WOS webserver on a stick is the easiest way to install a webserver on your own pc. No difficult settings, no need to download anything else. Just select the packages (fi joomla, wordpress, phpbb3, phpmyadmin, moodle etcetc) you want included with your webserver (apache/php/mysql) and it's a 1 click install.

    I also use xampp on my computer.

    Its great for testing purpuoses.

    Just for fun go check WOS out. It's Xampp plus fantastico in one as you not only have apache/mysql/php and phpmyadmin but also alot off programs that are open source like wordpress, joomla, moodle, oscommerce, wiki etcetc. One click and all is installed on your pc. Realy super easy
