Hey, i just want to clarify something.

If i have a backlink to my website on a seperate domain web page, and that web page has not yet been cached by google. Does that mean google has not found my backlink because the page hasnt even been cached?

So basically,

Web page cached = google has found and indexed my backlink.
Web page not cached = google has not found the web page nor indexed my backlink.

Is this correct?

Correct, When aquairing links I always check the cache date. First, it needs to be cached. Second, It needs to have been cached recently. If it has not been cached in 6 months, I won't bother. It may be another 6 months before it's cached again.
