NO, I am not going to show you how to download a cracked version of Photoshop for free from some site : )

What I AM going to share is a neat little website that I found out recently, that looks and works just like Photoshop.

It's a web based software, and almost like a Photoshop clone.

It's here: Photo editor online / free image editing direct in your browser - Pixlr.com

It reads all the common image formats AND Photoshop PSDs too! And it's FREE.

Just wanted to share it with Warriors here.

Regards,
Sagar

  • Now THAT is a really useful resource.

How many times have I needed to do a quick
graphics edit whilst out and about....this looks
    like the perfect solution.

I never imagined that such an app existed so thanks
    for sharing it here.

    • Hey
      thanks for sharing...
      seems to be good and
being new to the photoshop needs some guide to use it properly..

  • I can see this coming in handy though it is lacking some features that I would love to see in the program. It is kind of like PS in a way so I can get really used to it if need be without my PS. I'll play around with it and add a tutorial on the platform for you guys if wanted.
  • There are some tutorials here: Pixlr Tutorials - YouTube

    And here: IKT Forlaget Tjenester

    Hope this helps!

    Sagar

Of all the photoshop clones so far, this has been the most intuitive. I like how they mimicked the Photoshop interface layout, but in the features they do support, there's more options. The way the shape tool works makes it much easier to control the radius of rounded rectangles, and the layer effects bevel even allows you to specify a highlight and a shadow color.

There are some odd things: Inner glow looks more like the programmer was going after a neon ground effects kit than Photoshop's literal glow emanating inwards from the object boundaries, while CTRL+E merges all layers instead of just one, but the program also adds in a couple new tools to Photoshop that make things easier, such as opening an image URL as a layer.

The amount of work and detail that went into this completely web-based application surprises me. Great link, Sagar.
  • Oh.That's a cool site

Even though I use Photoshop, I´m certain it will

    • Its fine for photo editing.

And, if you want to do some painting online, there's another tool called Sumo Paint. Some features are quite exclusive to this tool only. And it gives a smoth line, almost similar to flash. For better results use a drawing tablet, but it is not really required.
  • Thanks Sagar.

Photoshop is quite expensive and this online tool will help to fill that gap with many people, me included.
  • You save my time!! Very grateful to you that you save my time by providing this superb info about Photoshop. Cheers
  • Very essential grabbing because it is very important part for some internet surfer. Unless to say that it also save times for business or busy persons!
