Wanna offer free blogs but how

Hi everyone and happy newyear!

I like to create a "blogger" clone site, any user should be able to create an account and create a free blog (maybe paid version optional).
Can anyone tell me if there are free script + templates available on the web? I already googled but there's so much not relevant info... :confused:

    You should work on your search skills!

    Go to wordpress.ORG and download their script. Install it on your host server. Learn about the "multi site" feature and enable it. Let visitors register...

    ... and you (they) can create as many blogs as they wish.

    In the same place you can download thousands of themes.

    If successful, you will have a site with millions of blogs like wordpress.COM

    Now, the real question is not how to do it: there is free script and free info about it.
    But can your host and the server handle if you have zillions of blogs created?
