Directing Domains for Maximum SEO JUICE

WEB DESIGN

If i just purchased 2 domains. IE: dog1 dot com and dogone dot com

What is the best way to set these both up so that they are not affecting SEO?

(I will be setting up emails at these domains too brett@dog1 Dot com & brett@dogone dot com and would like them to go to the same email.

ALso, i will be hosting at hostgator, is there a certain type of hosting package that i would need? ie: SEO PACKAGE that has no shared ip or something like that.

I ended up setting dogone.com as a parked domain. i set up the dns to the same dns as both domains.

and thats about it.

Set up domain forwarding from your secondary to your primary domain.

  I don't have any information on any of these sites. they are brand new domains. Setting them up as a forward is better than a "parked domain" aimed at my main site?

Well, it depends on what your purpose of having the two similar domains is.

If you have registered the 2nd domain purely to stop other people registering it, then it's fine to park it.

  My reason was just in case I told someone dog1 dot com and they were to type in dogone dot com. I would want them to go to the site that i am mainly promoting which is dog1 dot com.

  At dogone.com the template for the site is not up, but it is up at dog1.com...
  
  Does this mean that i should do all site building at dogone.com?
