I have a wordpress blog and created a single page on it, but i dont know how to add posts to the page created. All my added posts always displayed on the homepage of my blog. I want to create different pages like seo, ebook review, networking, etc. And in all of them, i want to have many posts that is not associated with the homepage posts. Please how can i go about it. Is there any wordpress plugin that can do the job? Thanks

From what you have written, you don't seem to have much idea about the workings and function of Wordpress.

Pages are pages, and posts are posts - you can't add posts to pages.

I suggest you go to the Wordpress Codex and do some reading. Then refer to it whenever you have issues understanding how things work.

It is possible to create a page called Blog - do not put any content on that page - and choose the Blog page template which is coded to display published blog POSTS (provided your theme has such a blog page template with it). Then publish that page.

Next, create and publish blog POSTS (which are not the same as pages) and then view your blog PAGE you created and you'll see your blog POSTS displayed there.

However, most themes are designed so that the home page displays the latest blog posts, so if you are simply wanting to blog then create and publish POSTS and those should display on your home page.

All this is really dependent upon how your theme is coded, the above is very common.

You don't. As you were told above: don't mix posts and Pages. Pages are NOT for your posts...

That's the normal and expected behaviour of a blogging tool. So, congratulations: you installed WP correctly

No, you want categories, not Pages!
Categories serve for grouping posts in meaningful clusters by topics - exactly what you want.

Due to your lack of understanding WP you are mixing two [2] different issues:
    - placing posts in categories (N.B. posts can NOT live without being assigned to a category!)
    - what is displayed on the main/home page

You should learn to handle the two issues independent of each other... because they are not related. Adding a category to each post is a matter of organizing your content in meaningful groups. Showing something on a home/front page is a matter of theme design and functionality.

Do not confuse yourself about pages and post. Just add the content that you wanted to the page that you just created . Create post if you intend to publish more often on a regular basis. You can categorize your post futher more base on the topics you intend to publish.
