Pagelines VS Thesis (and more)

I had the Pagelines framework before and played a little with Thesis..

Completely different animals!

Pagelines is easy and powerful but I feel being locked in their little box, know what I mean?

Thesis on the other hand is mighty but takes a lot of work to make it sweet..

I really am looking for a clean, fast and elegant WP theme for a blog that is gonna be huge..

Any suggestions? Would Thesis be the choice for me?

Any other themes that would do really well?
