Hi.

I'm wondering if there's an option to have "Pay With Paypal" button on a site, but one where the user enters the amount, rather than the button having a preset price built into it.

An offline business wants their customers to be able to pay with Paypal, but it's a carwash/cafe/ parking station so ther's different bill amounts foe everyone and it's not practical to set up so many different items as with a cart.

Basically, they want the checkout of a cart but not the items, so you can just hit the button, enter your billl amount and then pay using Paypal.

Does anyone know how to do this, without using the Donations option (because it's not a charity and we don't want to have to prove anything falsely).

Thanks,
Greg

on the Paypal button that you put on your webpage, you right click the options and choose edit E commerce button, it should give 6 options choose the top one,( BUY NOW LINK) click next it then give the button type option, then click next, the next page will give the option (allow customer to specify price) this is just under where you enter the price, tick the box and save, thats it, paypal give you a option to test it in a sandbox
