Lead Gen Theme + Audio Testimonials

I've messed around (wasted my time) with 2 different cheap themes from WSO's. Both had too many technical issues (the optin form not working was the worst) and I'm not willing to invest any more time into them.

I'm mainly looking for a lead gen site but I really would like one that I can add audio testimonials on the home page.

Anyone have any recommendations for a professional looking lead gen theme that's got a good track record?

Honestly, I don't get what a request for a lead generation site theme means...

Is there any sane marketer that really thinks the theme will generate the leads?

One has to have an offer or content that attracts potential leads... and then the offer or the content should prepare them for the call for action > join/subscribe/whatever - and by that they would become a lead.

If you have an AR system - there is no theme where a regularly added (read: edit HTML, insert form) optin form shouldn't work. If an opt-in form doesn't work, it is wrong code, the webmaster cannot copy/paste - but it is NEVER the fault of the theme. Period.

I am totally lost when I hear "lead generation theme". Can you describe the features and functionality that makes a theme "lead gen"? Please...

Yeah, in that thread I also said that it's a nonsense idea... and nobody had any real, rational argument based on facts against it.
So, are you trying to convince me by quoting myself saying there is non such animal?

The rest of that other thread couldn't point to even ONE theme that is lead gen. FYI, it's BS...
