Want to Add Friends eBook To My Site and Track
I've got a little wordpress site that's been getting between 4500-7000+ page views per day for over a year now. It's at the very top of google for a pretty popular term and that's where most of the traffic comes from. Average visitor stays for a little over 2 minutes and views about 2 pages.
It's been pulling in some revenue from banner ads but I believe it has potential to earn way more. So I have a co-worker who's wife just had a (religious category) book published and also got it in eBook format. He said he spent around $10k getting the book deal done.
Although my sites not in the religious niche, folks from many walks of life are interested in the subject. The eBook sells for about $4... We've agreed that if I put it on my site that any sales would be split 50/50 so about $2 each.
What I'd like to find out is.... What's the best way for me to track any sales of their eBook coming from my site. It's currently on Barnes & Noble and Amazon that I know of. I also have the issue of getting the eBook listed on my wordpress but I'm more concerned with a good tracking method at this time.
