I have only two sites which both of them over 100+ reviews each. They sell atleast $7000+ of items each month. Big authority sites are the way to go. I would also suggest wolfmmii's review system....

I pick a niche which has lots of products. For example Mountain Bikes and within that I would find particular bikes that have low comp and write reviews about them, Also I would pick a domain name...

One thing that worked for me is I built a authority sites then started to do reviews on various items in that niche. I choose relativly low compition items I they get ranked in google pretty quickly....
